Every Saturday night from April to September, this 16,000 square foot covered outdoor pavilion hosts musicians playing a wide variety of music from Americana and Southern folk to classic and modern country. Grab a delicious Bar-B-Que platter of mouth-watering pork smoked fresh on site at the Shed Smokehouse, just adjacent to the pavilion.

 

2. Brackins Blues Club

Come for the food and stay for the blues at this lively downtown spot in nearby downtown Maryville. Hosting local and regional blues musicians many nights of the month, Brackins is known for its great crowds, friendly staff, and pleasing ambiance. You’ll find a menu full of delicious food to enjoy; try one of their famous specialty burgers or Philly sandwiches. You’ll be feeling anything but blue after an excellent evening of blues music at Brackins.

3. The Bijou

Just down the road in downtown Knoxville, the Bijou Theatre hosts concerts from every genre across the musical spectrum. The New York Times calls this venue “one of the best sounding rooms in this country.” For more than one hundred years the Bijou has been a landmark of the area with concerts from artists as diverse as Joan Baez and Public Enemy. Before the show, grab a delicious meal just next door at the acclaimed Bistro at the Bijou.

4. The Mill and Mine

A state-of-the-art concert venue that can accommodate up to 1,200 people, the Mill and Mine in Knoxville boasts an indoor stage, an outdoor courtyard, and the most modern lighting and sound systems around. Doubling as an elegant event space, this concert hall has a cool vibe featuring exposed brick walls and beams. Its standing-room-only policy injects energy into every concert. This venue is committed to preserving local historic buildings, with the profits of the Pub going toward their revitalization.
