Toyota’s Camry models have stood the test of time for the last four decades. They continue to be the most popular rides in the vast mid-sized sedan class, not to mention the most popular sellers at our Toyota dealership. The 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid has received countless upgrades but still maintains that Camry personality we have grown to love.
At First Glance
The Camry Hybrid has LED daytime running lights and LED headlights, with additional LED accent lights framed in black trim. Both the daytime lights and the headlights have automatic on/off features. The Hybrid’s LED taillights are also trimmed in black to match the front accent lights. The center of the Camry’s front face is its distinctive dark gray grille. The outside mirrors and outside door handles are body-colored, and the handles feature touch-sensitive locking/unlocking mechanisms.
The 2024 Camry Hybrid meets the road on four 16-inch covered steel wheels, and all the windows are fitted with High Solar energy-absorbing glass so that the cabin stays cooler. The roof features an AM/FM antenna as well as a shark-fin antenna.
Closer Inspection
The cabin has an automatic dual-zone climate control system with an air filter, humidity sensor, and electronic compressor. Behind the steering wheel, the driver can see the odometer, average and current fuel economy, trip distances, average speed, and many other important vehicle health gauges. The five-passenger sedan has cozy fabric-trimmed seats and the driver’s and front passenger’s seats are eight-way and six-way adjustable respectively.
The backseat bench can seat three people and the seatbacks can be folded down. The center of the bench has an armrest with two cupholders that can be folded up to make room for a third passenger. The steering wheel has mounted controls for the cabin’s audio system, the Multi-Information Display screen behind the steering wheel, Bluetooth®, voice command, and the included Lane Departure Alert and Dynamic Cruise Control features.

The power behind the Camry Hybrid originates from its 2.5-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder DOHC engine with D-4S Injection Dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence. The Hybrid comes with four selectable driving modes including Eco, Normal, EV, and Sport. The Hybrid has 176 horsepower at 5,700 RPM and 163 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 RPM, and the electronically controlled continuously variable transmission has a sequential shift mode.
