Rick McGill’s Airport Toyota donates $30K over three years to UT Medical Center Cancer Institute
Representatives from Rick McGill’s Airport Toyota will be presenting a donation to the University of Tennessee Medical Center Cancer Institute on Thursday, January 10th at 4:30 p.m. The presentation will take place at the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute Medical Building F (1926 Alcoa Hwy, Knoxville).
Over the last three years, Rick McGill’s Toyota has donated a total of $30,000 to UT Medical Center Cancer Institute to support breast cancer research and outreach. This year’s donation for $10,000 will once again benefit the Breast Health Outreach Program, which provides screenings and educating women in East Tennessee.
Supporting breast cancer research and outreach is a priority to Rick McGill’s Airport Toyota. “We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, so we are honored to make a contribution towards fighting cancer in East Tennessee with the help of Toyota USA and our customers,” said Peter Renzulli, Sales Manager.
BHOP is a unique grant-funded program that provides essential breast health services in 21 East Tennessee Counties. In addition to providing mobile mammography, free breast health educational classes are offered on-site to businesses, churches, and other convenient community locations throughout the region.
