Cosmo’s Caffé at The Gourmet’s Market

There are plenty of delicious options available at this spot in the District in Bearden. You can choose from breakfast classics, including strawberry pancakes and smoked applewood bacon, or lunch entrees like Reuben sandwiches. But first-timers should definitely try the Toad in a Hole, which includes eggs prepared however you like them, local sausage packed with flavor, and grilled sourdough bread. The Breakfast Bowl is another favorite, with a freshly baked biscuit topped with scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and cheddar cheese.

Café 4

Situated in Market Square in downtown Knoxville, Café 4 offers a modern twist on classic favorites. This spot opened in 2011 on Kenesaw Avenue and has a brunch menu available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Some of the local favorites include the sausage and sweet onion omelet, classic sourdough French toast, and The Special, which includes a buttermilk pancake cooked with sausage inside, served with two over easy eggs. Sip on champagne, a mimosa, or a cocktail from a Mason jar.

The Crown & Goose

If you’re in the mood for classic British fare, check out The Crown & Goose, which showcases a design inspired by the London Underground. The Sunday brunch menu includes steak and eggs, Belgian waffles, and eggs Chesapeake, served with fried green tomatoes, jumbo lump crab cake, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce, with home fries on the side. You can also sample specialty cocktails made with Pimm’s, coffee liqueur, champagne, and other spirits.
