1. Ruby Sunshine

Ruby Sunshine is an all-day breakfast restaurant featuring unique New Orleans-inspired eats. Here you’ll find “eye-opening cocktails,” pancakes, bennies, omelets, and more. Ruby Sunshine boasts that they keep the spirit of brunch alive throughout the day, and customers agree. Try the buttermilk biscuit sliders or the shrimp and grits.

Responsibly enjoy a Ruby Mimosa, which is sparkling wine paired with OJ and pomegranate juice, or try the nola-inspired iced coffee, a French Truck cold brew coffee paired with milk and cream.
 

2. The French Market Creperie Downtown

The French Market Creperie Downtown is Knoxville’s first and only authentic crêpe spot. Located on Clinch Avenue, this restaurant is quaint and cozy, a classic backdrop for an understated brunch with your girlfriends. Sunday brunch is from 9 am until 3 pm and Saturday breakfast hours are from 8 am to 12 pm. There are eight breakfast crêpe options on the menu, including eggs, cheese, mushrooms, ham, sausage, and more.

You can also explore the traditional savory crêpes. Try the smoked salmon or the grilled cheese crêpe. Enjoy the vegetarian deluxe or the Monte Cristo ham. Don’t forget to explore the sweet crêpes too, with Nutella, Bavarian cream, and French caramel options. The menu does also include baguette sandwiches, soups, and more if you’re not in the mood for a crêpe.

3. Midland Restaurant 

Here’s another family-friendly place in Alcoa. Midland features American eats starting at 6:30 am, though they are closed on Sundays. Here you will find all your favorites: delicious pancakes, waffles, and omelets. Enjoy an a la carte brunch with eggs, biscuits, hashbrowns and/or oatmeal. 

Make sure to try out the Early Bird Special here, which is available from 6:30 – 11 am Monday through Friday. Choose between two strips of bacon or two sausage patties, accompanied by two eggs and either biscuits and gravy or toast. You won’t regret it! 

4. OliBea

OliBea is a colorful breakfast restaurant in Knoxville that is sure to brighten the start of your day. This space features great lighting, hardwood floors, and a beautiful neighborhood location. On the weekends, they are open Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm. 

Start your day with a fresh-squeezed OJ or the classic Honeybee Coffee. This lovely place offers oat milk or Cruze Farm whole milk. Try the Tennessee Benedict, which includes a biscuit, hen+hoc ham, a poached egg, smashed potatoes, and Abercrombie hollandaise sauce.
